Every traffic exchange you belong to most likely sends out an email letting you know what is going on that day and some will let you know what is going on that week.  I am not saying you have to join every traffic exchange, But you should join all the ones that catch your eye. Now here is the why, It does many things for you. Increases your reach of finding new prospects, referrals, and could create more sales and commissions for you.

This Month in NASA History:

NASA Celebrates Women’s History Month in March

NASA is recognizing and celebrating National Women’s History Month and the contributions of female scientists, researchers and managers to the space program.

Media representatives will have the opportunity to speak with researchers and administrators at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif., who will share their experiences and discuss contributions made by women to NASA’s aeronautics and space programs. Participants also will address issues related to education and career opportunities for young girls and women.

“Growing up on a ranch and being surrounded by the questions and wonders of biology stimulated my interest in science as a child,” said Deputy Director of Astrobiology and Space Research Bonnie Dalton. “Wanting to know more about the unknown was the evolutionary step translating my science interests to NASA research and finally to microgravity flight operations.” As part of NASA Ames’ management team, Dalton now is responsible for facilitating continuing space research at NASA’s Science and Technology Center for Exploration.

NASA Ames chief engineer Dr. Tina Panontin has been with NASA since 1983 and is now leading a team of researchers working on space shuttle ‘return-to-flight’ activities that will help NASA to meet the objectives of the new national space exploration program.

“The access to mentors and teachers whose perspectives helped broaden my outlook and aptitudes in math, science and problem-solving allowed my pursuit of a technical career and the opportunity to work on interesting problems with talented people in pursuit of an important mission,” said Panontin.

The official celebration of women’s accomplishments began in 1978 when the Sonoma County, Calif., government sponsored Women’s History Week to promote the teaching of women’s history. In 1981, Congress passed a resolution making the week a national celebration, and in 1987 Congress expanded the celebration to the full month of March, making it National Women’s History Month.

Distractions How they affect you

Distractions How they affect you

Distractions are one of the worse thing in business. They can and will cost you more than you can imagine.  You start to work on something for your members, list, or your site and get distracted and it does not get finished because you got distracted with something else. What this does is put you behind on your goals, Takes up more time than it should, and can ultimately cost you money. Last night i logged in to my blog with every intention to write a post, Well i was on the phone right before i logged in and something was mentioned that distracted me from doing that very thing. So here i sit this morning doing what should of been done last night. This distraction has took about 20 minutes of my time that i normally spend doing something else. Not to mention the thing that distracted me has not been completed. So it put 2 things off and cost me a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. In business this is unacceptable, Your customers deserve better from you, and me.  Stay focused on the job at hand and get it done and then more on to the next thing.

Your Orbital Traffic Mission:
Focus on Bringing at least one new member in to Orbital Traffic, and don’t let yourself get distracted. You will reap the benefits.

This Month in NASA History:
Pioneer 10: Mission to Jupiter and Beyond

Pioneer 10’s first challenge was to pass through what was initially feared to be an impenetrable asteroid belt. The mission to Jupiter and beyond, managed by the NASA’s Ames Research Center, was very successful resulting in the return of scientific data and images. It became the first artifact to leave the solar system on June 13, 1983 when it passed beyond the farthest known planet. It continued to search for the heliopause for another 20 years, exploring the very edges of interstellar space as it drifted onward in mankind’s first journey to the stars. Pioneer’s last, very weak signal was received on January 23, 2003. It is believed that its power source had run too low to transmit a signal. At the time, Pioneer 10 was more than 7.6 billion miles away from Earth.
