Where are My Credits Going?

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off on Where are My Credits Going?

Are they being used by real people seeing your site?

At some traffic exchanges you might think your not getting all the credits you surfed for because you total credits did not go up. You surfed 200 pages and you total credits only increases by 20. What’s wrong, You ask. Well nothing is wrong you forgot that you had 80% set in auto-assign. Most traffic exchanges you have to auto-assign a percentage of your credit while you surf.

Do you find that when you surf 200 pages and assign all your credits, they are gone by the time you log out or with an hour or so? Where did your credits go? Did a bot get them? Did a penny surfer that surfed 5000 pages to get 10 cent eat up your credits?

There are Traffic Exchanges where your credits will not get eaten up by bots or penny surfers. Orbital Traffic is one of them. This Month in NASA History:

Apollo 16, April 21, 1972

Astronaut Charles M. Duke Jr., lunar module pilot, is photographed collecting lunar samples at Station No. 1, during the first Apollo 16 extravehicular activity (EVA-1), at the Descartes landing site. This picture, looking eastward, was taken by astronaut John W. Young, commander. Duke is standing at the rim of Plum crater. The parked Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) can be seen in the left background. While astronaut’s Young and Duke descended in the Lunar Module (LM) “Orion” to explore the Descartes highlands region of the Moon, astronaut Thomas K. Mattingly II, command module pilot, remained with the Command and Service Modules (CSM) “Casper” in lunar orbit.
